Mary Ellen; Jean and I are so very sorry to hear of Ted's passing.His wit and warmth will be greatly missed.Ted and I were friends since we first met as engineering students at Queen's University in 1952. We shared the same rooming house and at times boarding houses for three years until Ted graduated in 1955. We also were members of the Queen's Gliding Club where Ted excelled both as a student pilot and then, remarkably, as an instructor in his second year. He continued to distinguish himself in that sport long after our time at Queen's as well as in his professional career.
